Software built for regulated work

OVI Strategies builds enterprise software and compliance technology for organizations that operate under export controls, audits, and customer security reviews. Our products use AI to automate the tedious parts of compliance — classification, screening, risk summaries — so your team can move fast without losing control of the data that matters most.

Our Products

Focused products for the hardest parts of compliance — the places spreadsheets and shared drives break down.

SecureExport

Export Control File Sharing

SecureExport is a purpose-built platform for sharing ITAR, EAR, and CUI-classified files with external partners, suppliers, and auditors. Every transfer is classified, screened, approved, and logged — so export control officers can say yes without losing the audit trail.

  •  AI-assisted classification and jurisdiction suggestions
  •  Automated restricted-party screening
  •  Approval workflows with recipient identity verification
  •  Time-bound access, watermarking, and full audit logs
  •  Deployable in commercial or GovCloud Azure environments

Virtual Data Rooms

Due Diligence & Deal Workspaces

Our Virtual Data Rooms product gives deal teams a controlled workspace for M&A, fundraising, and investor due diligence. Structured indexes, granular permissions, and activity analytics replace the ad-hoc shared-folder sprawl that usually powers a deal.

  •  Per-user and per-folder permissions with NDA gating
  •  Q&A threads scoped to documents and folders
  •  Reviewer activity analytics and heat maps
  •  Dynamic watermarks, view-only rendering, and export controls

What We Do

Two practice areas, one idea: compliance should be built into the software, not bolted on after the fact.

Enterprise Software

We design and build line-of-business applications for engineering, operations, and compliance teams inside regulated companies. Our work typically covers cloud architecture on Azure, data modeling for regulated workflows, Blazor and .NET web applications, and integrations with the tools your organization already runs — identity providers, storage, email, and audit systems.

Compliance Technology

We build software that makes controls enforceable instead of aspirational: classification of ITAR, EAR, and CUI content; screening against restricted party and sanctions lists; approval workflows that route to the right officer; and audit trails that hold up during external review. If your compliance program lives in spreadsheets and email threads, we can move it into a system of record.

Export Controls

Jurisdiction-aware classification, license tracking, and external sharing workflows for ITAR and EAR-regulated data.

CUI & CMMC Readiness

Practical data handling, access control, and audit logging aligned to NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 requirements.

Azure & GovCloud

Architecture and delivery on commercial Azure and Azure Government, including managed identity, private networking, and sovereign AI services.

AI as a Force Multiplier

Compliance teams are stretched thin — reviewing exports, classifying documents, checking restricted parties, and preparing for audits. Our products embed AI directly into those workflows so a team of three can do the work of thirty.

Smart Classification

AI reads your documents and suggests ITAR jurisdiction categories, ECCN codes, and CUI markings — reducing classification time from hours to minutes while keeping a human in the loop for final approval.

Automated Summaries & Risk Flags

Every share request gets an AI-generated summary that highlights what's being sent, why it matters, and what to watch out for — so approvers can make confident decisions faster without reading every file.

Scale Without Headcount

AI handles the repetitive, high-volume work — screening, classification suggestions, audit prep — freeing your compliance officers to focus on judgment calls, exceptions, and relationships that actually need a human.

About OVI Strategies

We're a small, senior team of software engineers and compliance practitioners. We've spent careers shipping software inside regulated environments — defense, aerospace, financial services, and enterprise SaaS — and we build the tools we wished we'd had.
Every engagement starts with the same question: what does this team actually have to prove to a regulator, a customer, or an auditor, and how do we make proving it a side effect of getting work done?
